Someone opened an account in my name to get direct tv at (Mod Cut-Personal identifying info cannot be posted in the public forum) Dayton,ohio. I haven't lived there in 20 years. I've never had direct tv at that address.

ok, what actions have you taken? Have you contacted Direct TV? Have you cancelled the account? Have you checked your credit report for an inquiry? Have you checked other revolving accounts to ensure no fraudulent activity has occured? Do you feel the issue warrents a credit freeze?
