So just an update.. i thought (because of Myfico) that i was in the 700club a few weeks back but per my lender pull i was really only a 687 ... well that motivated me to try to get this last collection of my report.. my ONLY negative item and it was finally deleted after 3 years of attempts.. i now am officially COLLECTION/CHARGE-OFF/LATE FREE!!! i worked so hard for this and i now have perfect credit (in my eyes lol) my utilizatio is low, my baddies are gone.. now i guess time to garden.. i applied for a mortgage loan for a second house (investment property) and im in underwriting for that so fingers crossed navy will come through 
I started with a low score of a 499 and now that score is a 720 with a high score of 763 and this is only appx 3 years of work. DONT GIVE UP this was a long and trying journey but i finally made it to my ultimate goal thank you myfico'ers for all of your support and for those just starting their journey have patience and dont give up
