Froze my chexsystems reports and was approved for a checking account that uses chexsystems

The bad account was closed in 06 and I believe I tried to open savings account in 07/08... So, I guess if info was ever there it just aged off.

Actually it was Bethpage Federal credit union that approved me for checking and savings account in which I was previously denied for due to being in chexsystems. I was curious about NASA FCU due to increase of approvals on the boards and I emailed them (before I froze my consumer reports) about their use of chexsystems. Thought it'd be nice to let people know who are in the chexsystems and don't want yo freeze their reports

so are you trying to say that NASA FCU doesn't use Chexsystems? Cos I wanna apply for a CC with them or DCU maybe...

I realize this thread is 5 months old, but did anyone ever confirm if Nasa runs a Chex inquiry or not?
