So one of my GW letters paid off!! One of my baddies was removed!! YAY!! Well, you would think.....My Fico score (from myfico) dropped 20 points for Equifax and 7 points for TransUnion. I thought this would be a good thing! I don't understand. All my bad collection accounts are paid to zero, I have three credit cards reporting, 2 regular and 1 secured. The account that was removed was an old medical account...
I do have one Bank listing my old car loan with late payments. The late payments are from 2007 (same time frame all my baddies were from) and are accurate, but it's listing twice. Both listings have the same account number, but monthly payments are listing different amounts. One is correct and one is wrong. I have disputed that and it keeps coming back. Anything I can do about this?
