GE Capital card showing closed on my CR

I have a Rooms-to-Go (GE Capital) credit card with a $4,500 CL and a $0 balance that is showing up on both my TU and EQ reports as "closed by consumer," which is absolutely not the case. I called and spoke to a CSR about it, and he said he put a note on my account for them to fix it when reporting to the CRA's next month. I don't know if that will work or if I should call a backdoor number and speak to a "higher-up." Anyone ever had this happen? I want to get this fixed as that would lower my utilization % by roughly 18%.

Starting Score: 671 TU (1/29/12), 653 EQ (1/29/12)
Current Score: 740 TU (5/5/13), 759 EQ (6/5/13), 745 EX (6/15/13)
Goal Score: 800+

Re: GE Capital card showing closed on my CR

You are right in calling them and asking why it was closed.  Have you used it lately?
