I paid LVNV & Resurgent capital services , and they sent me a letter in the mail saying the account was settled in full on 01-08-2009, and that they would report it to the CRA's. However, I didnt pay until 01-09-15. The date listed in their letter is before the account was sent to them for collection. Can I send this letter to the CRA's to try to get the trade line removed? LNVN is the only collection account on my credit report, and I want it gone. Any advice would be helpful.
In addition, I was able to get GM Financial to agree to delete their tradeline from my credit reports. I did this through writing letters, and then a BBB dispute. The trade line is loaded with lates from 9/13 - 4/11. Do you think I will get a Fico bump once it's removed?
