GMAC/Ally Debt

I ave one missed payment with GMAC 3-4 years ago with aloan that is closed. I'm trying to get it removed but now GMAC is Ally. Has anyone been able to get in touch with them and if so can they remove something from GMAC ?

I found them very good to work with - just send a letter to AZ where their collections dept is at and be kind . . . I bet they will work with you.

I sent two GW letters to Ally purchased two cars from GMAC in 2002 and another in 2004.. both paid off in 2005  Have two late payments on each from 2004...they sent me a letter stating they are reporting correctly and etc....etc...in a nutshell it cannot be changed. I will continue to try....I am no quitter!
