GW Credit Card Inquiries

I've heard that some people have had their credit card inquiries GW'ed and I wanted to hear from people who have had success what the best way to do this is. TIA.

It isn't worth it for the point boost youd get...

I had a bunch of hard inquiries on my report, and GWed like 10... almost all of them triggered fraud alerts that took me months to sort out..

Essentially, the creditor treats the GW as a 'dispute of validity' of you will, and that will trigger a fraud alert with the CRAs

I was about to suggest that might happen, but held off not having firsthand experience.

I have seen a couple posts where a dispute (not GW) resulted in a FA, and not only was a FA placed, but the creditor closed the account.
