GW Letter Capital One

Every time I send  a goodwill to Cap One, I explictly state that I'm not disputing anything and that I'm asking for goodwill...  Yet, every letter I get back says, 'I've confirmed that the late payments were accurately reported..."

I had luck with them just last week! I wrote a GW letter to the address on my credit file, adding "attention credit bureau reporting." There were 3 30-day lates showing, 2 from 2009 and 1 from 2006. I tried the "please, please" tactic, told them that I had been ill, etc., and amazingly enough, I got a letter from them yesterday saying they were deleting the "mistaken" late reporting from 2009. So it's possible!!! This was on a closed account. But I do have a current Capital One visa, so that might have helped...
