GW letter for 18 lates on an auto loan?

I have an auto loan that was paid off in 2008, but looks horrific on my CR. There are at least 18 reported lates, ranging from 30 to 120 days. *sigh*

Is it worth even taking a shot at GWing them to ask to clean it up a bit? I doubt they'd remove ALL the lates.... Would the removal of any of the lates show any improvement? Should I just wait til this sucker ages off?

You can ask for all of them but I doubt they would do that.  Who really knows.  Maybe ask for all and if they say no ask for something different.  All they can say is no.
