Hey I just shot off some GW letters and was wondering if you guys had any idea of how long to wait for a response. Below is a list of the creditors I sent them to
HSBC paid charge off 11/2006 shows on all 3 reports TU states sold to collect america paid after charge off
Guardian Finance paid repo (local company) 09/2009 only shows on experian and they wont reverify
Select Portfolio Services - short sale 08/2008 this one shows good on Equifax "settled" Experian "foreclosure"????? they wont change it. nothing on Trans union.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
It really depends. They may or may not response to your GW letter, in which case you should keep trying, persistence is key. Otherwise, there are posts on here by other members saying they got a response (in form of email or phone call) as quick as 2-3 days. I also think 1 - 1.5 week is not that unreasonable.
Starting Score (08/11/11): TU08: 643Ok...cool...I mailed them out on the Nov. 2nd so I will refire next week if nothing happens 
In addition to this, should we completely reword the letters?
I sent mine out on..... 10/31 ......
and have only gotten responce from 1 letter (2 emails 
)
all denials :'(
