Finally my white Whale appears to have been slayed. For two years I've had a $2,200 utlity bill with IC System that I've been paying off. Finally three weeks ago I paid it all off and immediately started the GW process. I mailed and e-mailed out a slew of GW's with no reponse.
Last Thursday I left for vacation and came home last night to find two letters from IC System. The first one dated Feb 1st said they could not delete. The second one dated Feb 2nd said they would delete. Apparently one of my letters found its way into the right person! This was my biggest fish, as it reported recently (2010). My one last single baddie is set to fall off in March or April.
I checked my USAA report today and it has been deleted off EX but still remains on TU and EQ. I'm hoping it gets deleted soon. I'm extremely thankful for MyFico for literally changing my life. I never envisioned a day would come when my reports would be THIS clean. A year ago I had 5-6 baddies on each report with not a single positive active trade line. I have GW'ed three of them and disputed a fourth.
My next move is getting a Flyer Mileage card in May. Thanks every one!!!!
