The first few people I sent letters to at GE said the same thing about my collection. The way I got around that was to keep climbing the food chain, and eventually got to someone that was able to completely remove the tradeline. This worked out perfect in my situation, I dont know about yours since it is just a 30 day late.
Starting Score: 570I had 3 30 day lates from 2009. The first letter I sent, I got a NO, said same thing as yours. So then I emailed to the address I sent you. I got the nice letter 4 days after that email. My card was a care credit card. I told them how I used the card and couldn't have had surgery without it. that I had never had any trouble using it. etc etc. Explained why I was late. Keep trying.
