I have a collection that s 18 months old, I paid it like 40 days after it was listed to my credit report, but it was within a day or two of hearing from the creditor. It was a medical bill from having my son... it shows on my EX and TU reports (which are both 654, but not on my TU report, that is 748)... I'm afraid by writting in they may report it to all three instead of removing it from the two. Is it worth the risk?
Thanks!
Hello,
I would goodwill it anyway, you only get the results you're looking for if you take the risk. I say it's worth it. And I have also noticed that sometimes, (for me at least) medical collections don't always report to ALL. But that could only be me.
Either way, good luck!
If you paid the OC you can attempt the HIPAA method, google it - can't be discussed on these forums.
