FICO scoring has to be one of the most frustrating things out there. I spent 8 months trying to get County Tax lien removed. Finally I got it removed. It was due to fall off in Dec of 2013 and was paid back in 06. Still my TU score from last month was 699 one point from my goal and this month it went to 693!!. One would have thought that removal of a tax lien would be worth at least one silly point..... but noooooo
The only thing that changed on my entire report was my Util went from 3% to 4%.
Lol I felt like I just wasted $20 dollars on TU FICO report.

Maybe the removal caused a rebucket?

Hmm maybe. Though I still have two Paid CO's left on my TU report. They will both be removed in seven months. Maybe with those still reporting I will never be able to break 700. My AAoA is 9 years. Oldest account is 16 years my last late was 6 years ago and my Util is 4%.
