Getting another card

Already approved for cap one. What other cards are good for rebuilding. I only have the new cap one so far.

Re: Getting another card

In addition to Cap One, I have a secured card from First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO). Happy with them. They manually review the app, so it might take a while. I think from the time I apped to the time I got my card it was two months. But they say they can offer CLI after 7 months, and will consider graduating to unsecured after 11 months. Look for Banks that will graduate the card after a year or so. Also consider a local credit union. The Navy Credit union is popular here, for those who can join.

Re: Getting another card

The Bank of America secured card will graduate to a regular card after a year. You can also convert it to a rewards card once you've had it for a month or so.

Just doesn't graduate but excellent building tool for scores and history

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?
