I have been working over the past few years to clean up my credit after losing my job and going through a short sale. I have three accounts that I have paid, all of which were to CAs. Would it behoove me to GW the heck out of them in the hopes they will remove the negative marks?
The CAs are Valentine & Kebartas, Asset Acceptance and Chapman Financial.

Absolutely.
Good luck with them. I can't speak for the other two, but I don't know of a single GW that Asset Acceptance didn't shoot down.
