Goodwill letter success - did they notify you or did you just see it on CR?

Title says it all. Not sure if I should be pulling CRs looking for the removal before I send another letter  

Mine is a 30daylate with Cap One credit card. Anyone have experience?

If you dont hear from a creditor you have to check your reports to see if there is a change, if not out goes another letter. Some creditors will just make the  change and never reply back others will do nothing and never reply back as well.

I sent out six GW letters, one worked. I wasn't notified by them, but by Credit Karma (about a week later) under "Collections Removed" -- the next day, myFICO notified me I had gained 20-40 points on each bureau because of a recent inquiry (applied for a Navy Fed membership).
