I have a Dillard's card that I use responsibly. I've had the account since 2005. In 2007 I had a late payment and because of this (one late six years ago) my Dillard's account is reporting as an "Adverse account" on my credit report. I goodwilled Dillard's asking them to remove the late and they are refusing. This comes as quite a surprise to me but I plan to ask again. Any suggestions on what to include when I ask and does anyone have a phone number or email of a CEO that I can contact that may give me better luck?? Thanks.
That late will go away next year. I know it is next year but after that your account will be a positive account again.
