Got a 12 point bump on EX for AU account

Got a alert today from myfico and it was from the capital one account I was added as a AU. 12 point bump! Still waiting on my cap 1 secured card to hit and 8 medical collections I was able to get a PFD for. I'm on my way!

So does capital one report to all 3 reporting agencies?

That is your good news.

The bad news is that you now a credit score that is not representative of your own credit history.

AU score boosts come at a price of possible question of the value of the new score to a prospective creditor.

well any increase is a positive to me at this stage. i had no credit cardson my report at all except for closed charge off's. as soon as MY cap 1 reports i'll have 2 cards reporting which should give me another 15-20 point bump. i'm excited to see my scores going up and not down.

The 12 points plus 8 deletions of baddies should increase your score. Sometimes very dramatically depending on your profile. Cap 1 usually reports to all 3 bureaus to my knowledge.

Thanks! Got a alert for that MY cap one security card reported to EQ today. Got a nice 33 point bump in my score!! I'm on my way, finally over 600 !!
