Got a judgement vacated!!

So I am hoping to buy a home in the next 12-18 months and the one last thing I needed off of my report is coming off.  I just learned that a judgement that is reporting to all three of my credit reports is coming off and I'm so excited.  I will be in my gardening phase as of 1/1/13 and hope to be in a new home in 2014.  My goal is to get into the 700 club by the end of next year and qualify for an FHA loan or do NACA.  I have been reading personal finance books and really working hard for the last six to seven months on my credit.  I'm really happy that I found this group and that I am working to get to a place where I have good credit.  Getting good credit will not happen overnight, but I am starting to get to a place where I'm paying all my bills on time and I have a couple of credit cards.  Feeling very blessed right now.

Re: Got a judgement vacated!!

Sass, congratulations on the judgement vacate! FYI, I am a mortgage officer and want to let you know you can qualify for an FHA loan with a mid score of 620. You will get the same rate as a borrower that has a 780 under the FHA program. You just need to have 3.5% of the sales price for down payment. Best wishes.
