Great State of Texas...

All of my credit troubles started right before I moved to TX from LA. I am trying figure out and understand the SOL for each state, however, how does it apply?  Do I follow the SOL for Louisiana, since thats where I live at 1st DofD or do I follow TX, since thats my current home state?

Please help.

In most cases it's the SOL where you now live. In Texas the SOL is 4 years.
