Collections are not supposed to be removed from scoring during a dispute.
If it was in the account section then it can happen.
Because of the date of last activity, the dispute possibly updated the TL.
I notice that the Paid collection part has been removed.
If the score drop is due to the actual dispute and not recent activity on the account, once the dispute is resolved your points should come back.
Shouldn't the status be paid? or should I check the individual reports for the comments? The account info is from myFico Score Watch alert. I went from 654 to 626.
It is in the account section NOT the collection section on the my Fico report....but, on the EQ report its in the collections section with Midland and FCO ....
If the account is paid, that should still be there. Refresh my memory. What did you dispute?
I would check the EQ site.
It is still scored as a collection.
It is just formatted differently on myFICO. But if you lost points, something is going on. I would check the CRA report.
This is exactly what I hate about trying to get updates...CRA make everything a dispute....and Portfolio is being shady. So, I need to file a complaint if this accounts aren't reported properly again.
The paid comment was removed so that is not good. Hopefully it gets put back.
