first, check to see if payment is made to store u got merch from or from a bank or finance co. if it's one of the latter, contact and pay agreed payment to them. second, copy ur copy of the contract and keep original receipt in a safe place. take the copy to the store and show them. and stay calm! be nice. they are more likely to do the same. if they lost contract and want u to do new one, get in writing a void of first contract so down the road noone can say u owe it or are late on payments, etc.. last, keep written notes of all conversations and interactions with them. get names of people u speak to. if problems persist and already dealt with management, consider returning merch and taking business elsewhere. may be isolated instance or preview of whats to come. good luck
