II left apartment in NJ because of unsafe LOW temperatures after 6 complaint letters to city and management. They allowed me to leave now asking for 1 months rent and i didnt get my deposit back... Now, they have forwarded my account to collections and now i can't get apartment because of it. 1900 owed they said. I have pictures and all my receipts including everything i paid. Called a lawyer, stated the case should be settled for delete collections agency doesn't want to do that what to do ? help ?
