I had several tickets from DC and just paid directly to the DC DMV website. It's too late to appeal the tickets, so I don't think there is another option for you. After you pay DMV, the CA will delete automatically, and fairly quickly (for me).

Thanks. I've already paid the CA $350. I do not plan on paying another penny until they validate the remaining balance they allege I owe.Especially, when they claim to have no info in the 11 year old tickets.
