Hey myFico Family,
So just like everyone else I do want to improve my credit score I believe this account is REALLLY dragging my score down. Take a look for me and let me know what would be your 'NEXT' plan of action I have already disputed through equifax's website and it keeps coming back. It is on all 3 reports I chose to dispute because some of the information on this account is wrong and the car was totaled and gab insurance told me they paid in full so I shouldn't owe anything at all...What would you do:

Any help is NEEDED!!

You say GAP ins. Paid the difference. Do you have any proof of this?
Yea they did, I did have it but I can't find it now and all it said was "remaining balance paid." Because of course insurance paid what the car was worth and gap paid the remainder. What's your thoughts there shogun?
I would do some research. Contact the insurance company and the GAP insurance and find what exactly was paid.

You need to get in writing what the insurance company paid and what GAP insurance was paid. Make copies of these and file a dispute with the CRAs attaching these receipts to the dispute.
Sorry for the double post, on the iPad.
Thanks a lot guys I will be doing that!!
