What is the best way to get a capital one credit card off if you owe 870.00 from 2006?? Is there anyway to PFD or would it be better to offer a cerain amount??

I'd suggest reading the following:

Credit Scoring 101 - great for knowing what is in your credit score and to see how your score is impacted.

What Steps Do I Take - great for learning the repair process.

and Example letters - PFDs, GWs, DVs, etc.

Try a PFD for 100% to improve the odds of the PFD being accepted. If after a couple of rounds they still say no (very likely, then I'd recommend a settlement.
