I've read several different versions on using HIPAA to have medical collections disputed and removed.
1. Tell the OC and Collection agency that you refuse to allow them to release any information not related to debt collection, pay the debt, and then challenge with the agencies, hoping that they won't be able to verify.
2. This is non-sense, it doesn't work that way, wait 7 years
Any truth to either of these scenarios?
I have a paid collection that was transferred about a year ago from a chiropractor. Have tired several approachs to get it tossed on a technicallity but nothing yet.
Any guidance???
I've never heard of this, that doesn't mean it's not true, but highly unlikely. HIPAA has nothing to do with your credit, and when you go to any doctor you sign a form which states you are responsible for any charges insurance denies payment on.
It works great but is not discussed here due to the request of the person who developed it. Just Google "Whychat HIPAA" and follow his advice.

From experience it does work.
As already stated it cannot be discussed here and your best bet is to Google it and contact its creator if you need help. This topic will now be closed to further discussion.
