I have gone through the entire process followed instructions to the letter , however i still have one OC that refuses to remove my account from the CA and my credit report. The response they sent to my follow up is below
"The hospital stricty abides by hipaa regulations and our legal counsel has advised us that there is no violation in providing protected health information to an outside entity for the purpose of collecting a bill."
Keep in mind the bills were all paid via a certified check in just the manner described in the hipaa letter process.
What should I do now?
