So i had a phone battle last week with the CSR about CRTP vs SOL - he didn't know the difference, I begged him to take me to court so he said fine let me get my supervisor, so then the supervisor called me a liar bc "How did you know it was on your reports if you didn't get our letter?"  So I tell her she owes me 1K for not notifying me of this debt and another for not responding to the DV letter (Which they allegedly did respond to but sent to the original wrong address of 8some years ago). 

Never thought anything would come of the call but it made me feel good to argue with them.

Get a letter today saying the account will be deleted from all reports based on the investigation and then there's a note at the end of the form letter saying they aren't going to sue me because of the age of the debt.

Credit Karma came back 39 points. It's gone. Waiting for next SW alert to see what will happen to EQ - though I'm wagering nothing since I only lost 10 to begin with, and then when they put the dispute marks on it, the 10 points came back (Even though disputing a collection isn't supposed to affect the score. In this case I'm CERTAIN that it did). So weird!
