If the OC is 7.5 yrs past the DoFD then you can dispute it as too old to remain on file. You can call the CRA and ask for early exclusion 6 months ahead of time with TU, 3 months on the rest.
"If the OC is 7.5 yrs past the DoFD"
haha TY but can you decipher that one in english for me please.
I called experian and got an onshore rep but she said that
the only thing she could do was remove the dispute by consumer note
and that
"you should worry about the sold to note, it can happen to even good
cards" and that she couldnt take it off from the 7 years becaue it wasn't
a negative item.
So I'll try online version. What are the words that I put in
so the online CS will understand?
(PS the portfolio item for this card was removed as of today (should
have been last month .. as it was 7 year itch time)

DoFD is the date of first delinquency, its the 30 day late that leads up to the CO. If its past 7.5 yrs from the DoFD you dispute it as too old to be on file, if its at the 7 yr mark ask that it be excluded early from your report. You need to figure out the DoFD to see if they are in compliance with the law or not.
