HSBC Deleted one out of two 30 day lates.

I checked my report through Truecredit this morning not for scoring but to monitor activity .  My question is why? though I'm not complaining.  Why would HSBC deleted one 30 day late and not the two of them? These two lates were consecutive.

You know, sometimes you just have to consider a partial win still a win!

HSBC did something similar to me - I sent GW after GW and then, out of nowhere (never received a call or letter confirming they would delete), the late payment disappeared from 2 CRAS, but not the 3rd CRA. Since allegedly HSBC is really tough to GW, I just left it alone and decided that was better than nothing. At least 2 of my credit scores will benefit from the deletion.

I have no idea what is up with HSBC and why they give random, partial GWs on occassion, but one late is better than 2 so I would just leave it alone.
