HSBC student loans - advice?

My hubby has about 6 HSBC student loans on his Credit reports that each have several lates on them.

All of these accounts were closed and transffered to another lender.

Anyone have any advice on what his next steps should be to have these removed??

If the delinquencies occured with HSBC, and they have subsequently sold the account, then you cant PFD them, for they have no debt with you.

You can request GW deletion.  However, since he never paid the debt to them, I would not expect them to be too receptive to a GW deletion.

He is probably fortunate that the OC never reported a charge-off of the bad debt.

damn...i was hoping that wasn't the case. I am going to GW them anyway and hope for the best.
