Was this listed on your CR as HSBC or Cap One? I have a charge off for an old HSBC credit card, but it's listed as Cap One. You already PM'ed me the contact info, but I haven't used it yet since I wasn't sure if it would work because mine says Cap One.

It said HSBC on TU and EX and Cap One on EQ. Cap One bought HSBC. So if you know it to be your old HSBC acct, send it. In fact the response letter I received was from Cap One.

Got an alert today - HSBC re-reporting the bad line on my Equifax report. 

Despite the letter I have in hand LOL. 

I just re-disputed it and attached the letter.
