Has anyone had any luck with Synchrony bank removing a chargeoff?

im in the process of paying the collections,but i wonder if they will remove the chargeoff from my CR once paid.

I called them for a late in 2009 and 2011 they hold my care credit card they said no. I called a second time they said they don't do that. Good luck.

I've sent two letters to the president. For a few lates about 5 years ago this month. Was told they do not do that, it will remain. So I'm guessing with a charge off, they won't as well. Sorry

I think it depends on the circumstances. I had an account that was charged off and I paid the CA. I then sent a GW to Synchrony and they removed. Corymhoward, I'll PM you.
