Have any of you paid a collection that updated monthly...

I have a collects that has validated, will NOT pfd, and is a thorn in my side. Portfolio of course. I need a mortgage, which means we have to pay the collection because it updates monthly. I also need the dispute comments removed.

So...have any of you ever paid a collection that updated monthly and it increase your score. Or atleast not drop it?

I do know paying a collection won't increase score, but since it updAtes monthly I was hoping this might be a different case.

No, even paid your score won't go up.  Because it updates monthly there should be no score drop either.

Paid or unpaid - from a scoring stand-point, your score remains the same.

Paid of course looks better to a lender.
