Welcome to the forum! As far as I know they should only stay on your report 7 years. Dispute them with the credit bureau and ask that they be removed. I would wait and get more feedback from people that experienced the same problem first. Good Luck!

An 8 year old CO should not be on your CR. You need to research to find the DoFD of the debt to make sure of this. It's not when the account was opened, it's when it went bad that starts the clock.
