Help! Advice

I have one bad cc issue on my credit report....a capital one credit card.  I paid late a few times and I believe it's charged off to another deparment.  I'm paying it off monthly.  What do I do?  How do I get this off my credit?  What steps do you suggest?

I think you need to provide some clarity; is it charged off to a collection agency? Have you agreed to a monthly payment plan to pay off the debt?

Answer these questions and others will be offer helpful advice.

If it's with a collection agency, determine if they are willing to offer a PFD.

If it's still with C1, see if they are willing to goodwill the late payments reporting to your credit.

If both options fail, open new lines and establish a new positive payment history to offset the negative reporting.
