Now Enhanced Aquisition claims to be Sullivan Asset Management. Something seems illegal about this company, and I'm going to get down to the bottom of this.
The identity theft process under the FCRA inttentiionally avoids any and all issues of who the furnisher of the information might be, or any evidence they assert as substanitation of your responsibility for the debt.
Under FCRA 605B, if the consumer puts their assertion that they never authorized and account or transactions realted to the asserted debt, then the CRA must block the inclusion of any reporting by anyone that is related to that information. It applies to the information itself, not to a specific party.
Thus, any issue of who is reporting or whether they are the same entity is moot to the issue of inclusion of their reporting in your credit report.
Did the CRA, after submission of your identity theft/police report and your affidavit, advise you that it was accepted?
If so, any reporting is blocked from your credit report.
