Help Continually updating medical collection

Help. This is on my credit and is reporting as a revolving account updating every month. It is killing me. I tried a PFD and got nothing. I am assuming bc it is out of SOL. They totally have the upper hand and it will be on my report until Oct 2013. Any advice?

It is from FL Hosp and is about $66. So easy to pay off - but I need it to go away!

Try another PFD???

Who is "updating," and what is being "updated."

It may just be a continued update of prior status.  As long as they did not report a later DOFD, it is permissible to continue to report the same status each month.
