Help!!! I dont want to make any mistakes!!!

Thank you to everyone on this forum, With out all the help, questions, and answers I think I would still be feeling very intimidated by my credit score and future.

A brief run down of my situation, I had terrible credit, managed to secure credit cards and loans, and continued to not value my credit. Nothing to crazy but enough to put me in a bad spot. Luckily a lot fell off to to SOL. so here's where I am at currently (some of this information is from credit karma and some from Equifax ).

Equifax as of 1/14/16 I am at 500 that is however +4 from 12/26/15 with 6 inquiries and 1 unknown public record.

- BYL Collection Service (UTILITY)

Trans as of 1/14/16 I am at 477 up from 474 on 12/26/16 with 3 inquiries and 3 public records 1 paid.

- 1st Finl Invstmnt Fun (Medical $256.00)

Like i said, there isn't a lot on there but what is has seemed to kill my score. I have managed to get a few deleted through TransUnion . I also have gotten HONOR FINANCE to agree to a reduced amount of $3000.00 for a PIF and correction of payment History with a $0 Balance. I am not sure what letter to send however since the conservation was over the phone. Should I send a GW letter?

As for the National Credit Systems account, whats the best way to handle this debt, it is for an apartment I lived in that I was evicted from, so it is showing up under public records as well as with this account.

Is there a trick to navigating First premier? Or are they just impossible to deal with? The account that was closed and PIF with no late payments was in 2013 and the open account with a balance is from 2010.

Also any general information on what or what not to do would be welcomed.

Thank you all in advance!!

Re: Help!!! I dont want to make any mistakes!!!

For the collections, has the OC ever reported a charge-off?

Does the OC still own the debt?

When did the debt first become delinquent, and what is the SOL for your state?

SOL for AZ is 7 years. they are from 2012, 2014, 2015

The medical bills, through research i have found how to handle those, its mainly the appartment collections account im unsure about how to handle. That is from 5/15.

Re: Help!!! I dont want to make any mistakes!!!

Do you contest the validitty of a debt owed the landlord?

Have you sent a DV to the debt collector?

If a valid debt, then offering a PFD might get the collection deleted.........

Re: Help!!! I dont want to make any mistakes!!!

I will start with a DV to the CA, see what I get back.

Also I found out that the 2 colectioins that are for medical are no longer with the OC. Im thinking a DV letter to the CA?
