I received a collections bill dated 3/5 for an outstanding medical bill totaling 312.42. As soon as I received the bill I paid it in full. Problem is that it is already on my report. Is it the norm that they would report it without even giving a week to make good on the payment. I just assumed when i paid it right away that it would not get reported. Have put a call in - was told someone will call back.
