My credit report is showing a Household bank CC that was sent to a CA, CKS Financial. Household was eventually sold to HSBC and was eventually sold to Capital One, however being that this was a "bad" account I doubt they "bought" those accounts. The CA just simply sent a letter with my name/lbal/etc. as the "validation."
What else could/should I do to try to get this removed.
I honestly am not even sure if this is my account (ex opened accounts in my name and I fought many via identity theft papers).
