I have a CO from First Premier that was charged off in 8/2008. Up until 9/24/2013 it was showing on my EQ report that my last late payment occured 4 years and 9 months ago and was listed as a positive.
When I pulled a new report ofter a score drop alert it now shows on EQ that my last late payment was 6 months ago and is now listed as a negative.
There was no dispute going on or anything so I dont understand what causes this tradline to update, I dont think FP updated the tradline, but for some reason EQ changed the way the tradline is being interpreted.
My score dropped from 656 to 614 from this and Im worried that this may raise red flags with my current creditors. I havent had any missed payments in 6 years.
Is there anything I can do about this? This only happened on EQ, my EX and TU reports are still showing the CO the same way.
