Before I start this journey, I wanted to list my strategy to make sure I'm on the right path. I'm open to any comments/suggestions.
Should I try to PFD? If so, does anyone know what amount I should offer?

Tried a PFD for $300. Got a letter basically saying NO and the info to the collection company. Should I try another PFD for $548 or maybe $600 to try and get it off?

Not sure what to do with this one. I ended up getting an unsecured card from them a few weeks ago with a $300 limit.

Well, just so you know, the DV process only relates to collection accounts, not OC accounts.

My mistake. I've made updates.
Bump...Anyone have suggestions on this?
I would DV anything that you're unsure of. When you get those back then start sending PFD letters. Some collectors wont accept PFDs, but will GW when the acct has been paid. If you don't get a DV back and you aren't within SOL, I would dispute with the CRAs.
I'm not sure if you had medical bills, but the HIPPA process works well for those and you can search for it through google (it's not posted here).
For those debts that are paid or for late payments I would GW the heck out of them. You can find an immense amount of info on these boards for contacts and it's also helpful to seach the company's website for CEO names to email. Just remember, be honest and sincere with your letters! Good luck!!
