I am in Washington state. I tried to google information regarding our laws but I could not find anything. Does anyone know specific WA laws, or a good website to find them?
If this was filed in a local courthouse, I would go down and get copies of the judgment. It will have how you were served. Ask the clerk what "proper service" is in your area.
Thanks for all of the information guys. I am going to call the court on Monday where it was done. It is in a different county than mine. Do you know if proper service is a state law or if it can vary by county?
