The reason you are not seeing any way to DV the CRA in any dispute process is that you cant DV a CRA. You can only DV a third party debt collector.

The DV process in under the FDCPA, and is primrily to require cessation of active collection actiity until verification is provided.  It has nothing to do with the CRA, your credit report, or credit scoring. 

You have paid or settled the debts, so have no grounds to now ask for debt verification with the CA.

Paid CAs are not removed from your credit report due to your payment.  They remain for 7 1/2 years from the DOFD on the OC account, paid or unpaid.

So, no, there is no dispute process under the FCRA that is now available.

You can offer the CA to pay (PFD) the remaiing diffference on the accounts you settled for less than the full amount, or request a GW deletion from those paid in full.  But both are discretionary on the part of the CA, and have no legal grounds for requesting acceptance.
