Help!

Long story short, I had an unpaid judgment pop up when I was having my credit ran for an apartment on Experian. I contacted the court, got a letter saying it has been more than 10 years and not renewed, so it shouldn't be reported. I contacted Experian to resolve this and the CSR tells me it not even being reported on my Experian report. Then why did it pop up on the credit check???

Re: Help!

Can you ask for a copy of the report your apartment pulled?  I would send that copy over to Experian and tell them it is showing up.

Re: Help!

I can ask, but I also have a very recent copy of my Experian report and it's not listed on my copy either.

Re: Help!

Yes I'm positive I got the alert from my Equifax and TU monitor. It's even posted on my Experian CR that it was pulled by the management company.

If you got alerts on EQ and TU, then you need to send the information to one of them or both.

Re: Help!

The report you are seeing is a rental history enhanced report. If you see an inq on experian it is because they pulled information from experian to assist in their own report. Rental histories look for public records and often use outdated databases.
