Cause I did. Apparently, someone sued them for implying they had checked with the court listed on your reports when asked for a method of verification or investigating a dispute. There's a settlement being worked out that gets the claimaints 24 months of daily pulls from Experian.
I'm thinking about sending in my comments regarding the settlement - I think it's ridiculous that, when asked for a method of verification, they put a note on my report saying that they reinvestigated and it remains. I didn't ask for an investigation, and I did not dispute. I asked for their information source and specifically said that I was not disputing. By rights, since they claim to have investigated and left misleading info in there, I think they should have to delete the entries from my reports. They didn't verify with the listed sources. Anyone else get the letter and have similar thoughts about sending in a response?
I'd be interested in seeing what would happen if you disputed it again.
